This page is a translation. In the event of any discrepancy or doubt as to interpretation, the Portuguese (Portugal) version prevails.
1. About Dodoce
Dodoce is a SaaS platform that helps chocolatiers, confectioners and other artisan sweet businesses take orders online. Each business (hereinafter the “Tenant”) gets a public shopfront at <slug>.dodoce.com and a management dashboard at admin.dodoce.com.
These terms govern the use of the platform. By creating an account and using the service, you accept these terms.
2. Account and access
Sign-up is handled by Auth0, with email/password or social login. The account holder is responsible for keeping their credentials secure and not sharing access.
Each account can manage one Tenant. If you need several Tenants (several brands), contact us at suporte@dodoce.com.
3. Plans and payment
There is a Free plan, with no time limit, for up to 30 orders a month, 20 published products and 1 user. The paid plans are Basic (€19 a month or €190 a year), Pro (€29 or €290) and Premium (€59 or €590); in Brazil, R$59.90, R$89.90 and R$179.90 a month, or R$599, R$899 and R$1,799 a year. Each plan’s limits are shown on the pricing page.
In Portugal and Spain, paid plans are paid online through Stripe: with a card or SEPA Direct Debit the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly); with MB WAY or Multibanco you receive an invoice each period. You can cancel the renewal at any time under Plan and billing › Cancel subscription: the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, with no refund for that period. If you upgrade mid-period you pay only the prorated difference straight away; if you downgrade, the new plan starts in the next period. Your card or IBAN can be changed under Plan and billing › Manage payment and invoices. In Brazil, you request the payment details from support, and we record each payment. A paid plan is active for the period paid for. If it is not renewed, there is a 7-day grace period; after that the shop moves to the Free plan limits, without losing any data. Prices in euros exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable legal rate. Price changes are announced by email with at least 30 days’ notice.
4. Tenant responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the content published on your shopfront — business name, products, prices, photos, contact details, opening hours and order deadlines;
- Complying with the legislation applicable to your business in the country where you operate (food labelling, taxes, invoicing, licences, food hygiene and safety);
- Processing the orders received through Dodoce within the timeframe communicated to the end customer and resolving any dispute directly with that customer;
- Not publishing content that is unlawful, offensive, infringes third-party rights (trade marks, copyright) or promotes prohibited products.
Dodoce acts solely as a technical platform. We are not a party to the contract between the Tenant and the end customer.
5. Cancellation and data deletion
You can delete your account at any time at /definicoes/apagar-conta. Deletion is immediate and removes the Tenant, products, orders, photos and associated credentials. Automatic infrastructure backups may retain data for up to 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
You can export all your data in JSON format before deleting your account, at /definicoes/exportar-dados. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, with notice by email where practicable.
6. Service availability
The service is provided “as is”, with no formal availability guarantee (SLA). We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and publish known incidents at /definicoes/status.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dodoce is not liable for loss of profits, orders lost due to an occasional technical fault, or the Tenant’s business decisions. Our maximum aggregate liability, in any circumstances, shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event (on the Free plan, this amount is zero).
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes shall be submitted to the Tribunal Judicial de Setúbal (Judicial Court of Setúbal, Portugal), to the express exclusion of any other court.
